And the "freeze" that Obama is talking about is a sham as far as I'm concerned. This portion of the budget (discretionary spending) has gone up something like 24% in the last two years. And nothing stops it from going up even more this year. So to freeze it starting NEXT year for three years is meaningless. And discretionary spending is a very small piece of the federal budget. Worthless. Spending is way out of control. And the “freeze” that Obama is talking about is a sham as far as I’m concerned.
