After having lived in our house for five years, it’s finally time to get rid of the things we’ll never use again. You can email me here: email@example.com.
Set of 6 Antique Kitchen Chairs
Three are in very good shape. Three need a little TLC. One in particular needs new caning for the seat. Used these growing up around our breakfast room table. Local antique dealer said I could ask for up to $240 for the set. Asking $180 for the set of six.
Antique Task Chair
Still in pretty darn good shape. It’s fairly small, spins and is very cute. Asking $30.
Small Antique Wood Chair
This is a cute little antique wood chair. In pretty good shape. Asking $30.
Abernathy Antique Roll Top Desk
I love this desk and hate to see it go, but we have nowhere to put it in the house. My best guess is that this is from the early 1900s. Still has brass plate from Abernathy Furniture Company, Kansas City MO. It was appraised about 20 years ago for $2500. Has been moved several times since then and is in need of some TLC. The top is in excellent condition. The two bottom sides (drawers on left and door on right) need stabilization from someone good with restoration. Asking $900.
Rooster Lamp: This was likely purchased new by my mom in the early ’70s. It was in my room when I was a kid. Asking $10.
Large Turquoise Lamp: I like this lamp, but just have no room for it. It had belonged to my grandmother and have seen it in family photos from the ’60s. Could be older than that. Asking $25.
SOLD Large Pottery Lamp with Shade: Another lamp we have no room for. It’s heavy, and really nice. It has a shade though you would probably want to eventually replace the shade. Mom purchased this in the early ’70s. Assume it was new at the time but don’t really know. Asking $30.
These are very nice brass lamps. And very heavy. Have seen new brass lamps online not as nice as these selling for $250+ each. And antique brass lamps selling for $500+ each. These belonged to my grandmother, and I’m pretty sure they’re antiques. Just not sure how to check. Asking $300 for the pair.
Kristin bought these for about $30 each. Barely used. Need a good home. Asking $25 for the pair.
TV Wall Mounts
We have two of these from our old house with all of the hardware. One we used on a 13″ TV, and the other for a 19″ TV. Both have racks for VCRs. I do believe these can be used with other sizes of TV as well. New these were around $80 each. Asking $15 each.
